Description
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service is soliciting non-personal dentist services for one dentist to provide continuous outpatient coverage at the Tohatchi Health Center. The contractor must provide eight hours of dental services per day, five days per week, including patient examination, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, referrals, prescriptions, clinical documentation, and participation in applicable meetings and quality-improvement activities. The contractor must meet licensing, board-certification or eligibility, experience, BLS, driver's-license, credentialing, background-check, privacy, cultural-awareness, and information-technology requirements. The contract includes a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. Quotes must include administrative and certification materials, a technical capability volume addressing dentist qualifications, continuity of coverage, credentialing, and schedule, and a price volume containing completed pricing schedules, hourly-rate breakdowns, price narrative, total evaluated price, and price acknowledgment. Medical liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate is required. The acquisition is restricted to 100% Indian-owned Small Business Economic Enterprises.
