Description
New Mexico State University seeks one contractor to perform a nodal seismic survey supporting evaluation of pumped-storage hydropower infrastructure. The scope includes a 2D active-source transect, priced separately for heavy weight-drop and explosive source options, plus a concurrent 3D passive ambient-noise deployment of approximately one month. The contractor must furnish personnel, equipment, consumables, transportation, supervision, GNSS positioning, field quality control, and data acquisition and processing services. The contractor must complete a test phase, production acquisition, active-source processing through P-wave model building and time and depth migration, passive-data processing, and delivery of separated shot records, continuous miniSEED recordings, positioning and quality-control data, reports, migrated image volumes, and a P-wave velocity image. Proposals must address survey design, passive acquisition, processing, schedule within the second quarter of 2027, weather contingencies, HSE procedures, qualifications, references, pricing, and any exceptions to the terms. The solicitation requires a project-specific HSE and medical-evacuation plan, trained personnel, applicable licensing and certifications, and insurance for services performed on university property.
