Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs seeks a qualified, licensed contractor to remove approximately 1,553 square feet of existing carpet and padding from Building 50 at Window Rock Headquarters, dispose of the materials off site, inspect and prepare the existing wood subfloor, and install approved commercial-grade, water-resistant laminate flooring. The work includes underlayment, transitions, new floor base and door casing, 3/4-inch quarter-round trim, pre-painting and touch-up, furniture and equipment relocation, debris removal, and final cleaning. The contractor must provide laminate flooring samples and product documentation for review, including manufacturer data, safety data sheets, fire-code certification, cleaning instructions, and warranty information. Flooring must be at least AC3-rated, 12 mm thick, water resistant, and compliant with specified NALFA and ANSI standards. The opportunity is set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises under the Buy Indian Act, requires at least five years of satisfactory experience, and includes a one-year workmanship warranty. Amendment 1 schedules a site visit and extends the response deadline to September 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. MDT.
