Description
Bloomfield Irrigation District is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and properly licensed contractors for the La Pumpa Diversion Structure Construction Project. The work includes removing and replacing the existing concrete diversion structure; constructing a new concrete diversion structure; furnishing and installing sluice gates, aluminum walkways and stairs, fencing, and gates; cleaning the existing pond; constructing and maintaining an access road; and lining portions of the Citizens and La Pumpa ditches with six-inch shotcrete. Additional work includes site preparation, excavation, grading, backfill, restoration, construction staking and layout, material and quality-control testing, bridge erosion control, and preparation and implementation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. The project is funded through a New Mexico State Capital Appropriation, overseen by the Interstate Stream Commission, and subject to the requirements of the Capital Project Agreement, including Interstate Stream Commission review.
