Description
Ephrata Borough Authority is seeking a contractor for a linear stormwater infrastructure replacement project along South Market Street. The work includes milling and overlay, removal or decommissioning of existing stormwater pipes using bulkheads and flowable fill, installation of new stormwater structures and reinforced concrete storm pipes, trench excavation and restoration, concrete curb and sidewalk work, pavement markings, erosion and sedimentation controls, traffic maintenance, and restoration of disturbed areas. The project also includes relocation of an existing water main and associated utility coordination. Bidders must provide a 10 percent bid bond or certified check, qualifications information, a non-collusion affidavit, required employment verification and equal employment opportunity certifications, and other bid attachments identified in the project manual. Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements apply, and the successful contractor must furnish performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award.
