Description
The City of Cleveland is seeking a qualified third-party administrator to manage Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation claims and related liability claim functions. Services include claim intake and investigation, compensability reviews, reserve management, claimant and medical-provider communications, statutory reporting, payment documentation, litigation and settlement support, subrogation identification and recovery assistance, claims summaries, loss runs, and quarterly claims reviews. The provider must support electronic access and data integration with the Ohio BWC TPA Portal, Ohio Industrial Commission systems, Origami Risk Management Platform, and Microsoft Teams, including FROI/SROI reporting, APIs, SFTP, and flat-file exchanges. The scope also includes actuarial and liability analysis, regulatory compliance assistance, dedicated claims representation, security controls, annual SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II reports, and encryption of data at rest and in transit. Proposals must include technical and price proposals, vendor information, three client references, an approach and staffing narrative, work-product samples, and required City and equal-opportunity forms.
