Description
The City of Cleveland is seeking professional engineering services for preliminary engineering and final design of approximately 3.5 miles of E. 93rd Street and Woodhill Road from Miles Avenue to Quincy Avenue, connecting to E. 105th Street. The work includes construction contract plans and specifications for roadway rehabilitation, complete-street improvements, bicycle facilities, pedestrian and ADA improvements, traffic calming, transit-stop enhancements, signal improvements, utility coordination, surveying, geotechnical coordination, public involvement, and maintenance-of-traffic plans. Several intersections and areas with existing quick-build improvements are excluded from pavement rehabilitation. The consultant must perform traffic data collection and signal warrant/removal analyses; prepare signing, striping, traffic signal, drainage, utility, and roadway plans; coordinate with the City, ODOT District 12, GCRTA, utilities, and community stakeholders; support public meetings and project outreach; and provide staged plan submissions, final PS&E packages, cost estimates, and construction services. The proposal requires technical qualifications, a detailed approach and schedule, ODOT prequalifications in non-complex roadway design, basic traffic signal design, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities, fee information, references, OEO schedules, a W-9, a noncompetitive bid statement, and a Northern Ireland Fair Employment Practices Disclosure.
