Description
The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is soliciting bids for a two-year requirement contract supporting its Regional Stormwater Management Program. The contractor will demolish and haul away structures, foundations, paved surfaces, fences, septic systems, and other site components; coordinate utility shut-offs and disconnections; obtain required permits; backfill and compact excavations; grade and seed sites; remove debris; protect existing infrastructure; and perform follow-up restoration inspections. Estimated quantities are not guaranteed, and work will be ordered as needed until the contract term ends or appropriated funds are exhausted. The scope also includes asbestos abatement on a time-and-materials basis, including licensed abatement personnel, regulated asbestos-containing material removal and disposal, containment, dust control, required notifications, air filtration and clearance sampling when applicable, manifests, and regulatory compliance. Bidders must provide unit pricing for demolition, foundation removal, paved-surface removal, fence removal, site restoration, additional site materials, asbestos abatement, and specified labor classifications. The estimated probable cost is $2,000,000.00. The solicitation requires a bid guaranty and identifies extensive insurance, prevailing-wage, safety, environmental, and subcontracting requirements.
