Description
The Department of the Interior’s Appraisal and Valuation Services Office is requesting a firm-fixed-price quotation for appraisal services related to the proposed federal acquisition of three noncontiguous tracts totaling approximately 71.80 acres in York County, Maine. The assignment requires fee-simple, as-is valuations for each tract and before-and-after valuation analyses addressing the effect of the partial acquisition on the remainder property. The appraiser must hold a current Certified General Appraiser license from Maine or a reciprocal jurisdiction and demonstrate at least five years of experience appraising comparable land in the specified New England states. The quotation must include relevant qualifications, at least three similar USPAP- or UASFLA-compliant assignments completed within the past three years, three professional references, and required licensing documentation. The resulting appraisal must comply with USPAP and the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions, include property and comparable inspections, and be delivered initially within 45 days after award, with final electronic delivery following review and corrections. Subcontracting is not permitted without written approval.
