Description
The City of South Portland is soliciting one brand-new 2025-or-newer Ford Hybrid Police Interceptor or equal for the South Portland Police Department. The vehicle must include the specified police features and options, including a 3.3-liter hybrid powertrain, connector kit, rear-view camera, keyed-alike locks, LED side-marker mirrors, a driver-only LED spotlight, Level IV+ ballistic panel, wheel covers, inoperable rear-door controls, and noise-suppression bands. Equivalent vehicles may be offered if they meet the specifications. Pricing must include transportation, temporary plates, title-application copies, all specified equipment and options, title fees, and warranty costs. Bidders must provide itemized illustrated literature, delivery time after receipt of order, and the manufacturer's printed warranty statement. The successful bidder must later provide the manufacturer's order acknowledgment and production commitment. The proposal must be submitted on the City-provided form and include a handwritten signature from an authorized representative.
