Description
The City of South Portland Water Resource Protection Department is soliciting a new 2027 one-ton regular-cab, single-rear-wheel, four-wheel-drive pickup truck equipped with a fiberglass service body, 1,500-pound aluminum platform liftgate, passenger-side aluminum ladder rack, trailer-towing package with pintle hook and integrated brake controller, lighting and safety equipment, backup camera, and other specified accessories. The truck must meet detailed minimum requirements, including a 10,000-pound minimum GVWR, 6.0-liter V-8 gasoline engine, 56-inch cab-to-axle chassis, automatic transmission, all-terrain tires, and specified service-body and liftgate models or equivalents. Bidders must provide a complete vehicle description and applicable printed materials, delivery time after written order, a complete shop manual, warranty information, and pricing both with and without a trade-in allowance for a 2007 GMC 3500 one-ton pickup. A catalog or brochure identifying standard factory equipment and a written exceptions/deviations sheet are required where applicable. Delivery is upon receipt of a purchase order, and prompt delivery may be considered in the award. Proposers must register before submitting a proposal; bids must be submitted on the attached bid form in a sealed envelope marked “Bid #11-27.”
