Description
The City of Huntsville is soliciting qualified, experienced, and properly licensed HVAC vendors to provide citywide services for city-owned facilities and properties. The scope includes preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, equipment replacement, installation, emergency service, and related HVAC work as needed. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 technician availability, respond to emergencies within two hours, supply qualified technicians, use new and unused parts unless waived in writing, and maintain applicable Texas licensing and regulatory compliance. The solicitation requires a Class A State of Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Vendor license, at least 10 years of HVAC business experience, and a minimum workforce of two journeyman-certified HVAC technicians. Pricing is requested for inspection/trip charges, regular and after-hours labor, additional technicians, and a markup on replacement parts and equipment.
