The U.S. Government is conducting market research for a turnkey, commercial design and construction/installation solution for a large-scale HVAC modernization and replacement project at Schriever Space Force Base. The anticipated capabilities include engineering and mechanical construction, with systems such as chillers, air handlers, variable refrigerant flow systems, building automation controls, high-density cooling, and energy-efficient or smart-facility solutions. Respondents are asked to describe their delivery structure, relevant commercial, industrial, mission-critical, military-installation, and high-security-facility experience; SAM registration and UEI/CAGE status; business size and socioeconomic certifications; bonding capacity or alternative financial protections; prevailing-wage and certified-payroll capability; and ability to accept electronic milestone-based payments. The notice also asks whether firms would participate in a future Commercial Solutions Opening requiring a concise five-page solution brief with a response period of under 30 days.
