Description
The U.S. Air Force Academy intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price commercial contract for comprehensive maintenance, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair services for a Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) system. The requirement includes the mass spectrometer, liquid chromatography system, gas generator, proprietary software diagnostic support, proprietary software updates, warranty-compliant calibration, and authentic replacement parts. The notice identifies AB SCIEX LLC as the original equipment manufacturer and only approved source. The anticipated period of performance is one base year followed by four one-year option periods. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a solicitation for bids or proposals; interested concerns may submit a capability statement demonstrating that competition would benefit the Government.
