The Colorado Department of Transportation is preparing a solicitation for program-specific construction management, construction inspection, and materials testing engineering services supporting the US 24 Garrett–Woodmen Widening and Judge Orr Intersection projects in El Paso County. The associated construction projects are anticipated to have contract or task-order values of approximately $4 million and $1 million, respectively; these figures describe the construction work, not necessarily the value of the requested engineering-services contract. The anticipated services contract term is three years. Proposals will be evaluated on project team composition and capability, past experience, approach, and small-business participation. The proposal will be limited to eight pages, with no appendices; 11-by-17-inch pages count as two standard pages. The solicitation is anticipated to be released in August 2026.
