Description
The City of Colorado Springs is soliciting formal bids for Lake Avenue intersection improvements near Highway 115 and Southgate Road. The project includes roadway widening and reconstruction, a roundabout, asphalt and concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, a multi-use trail, median paving, guardrails, landscaping rock, excavation, construction surveying, traffic control, and construction phasing. The work also includes stormwater drainage improvements; reinforced concrete pipe and related structures; erosion and sediment controls; traffic signals; street lighting; conduit, wiring, junction boxes, signal poles and faces; pedestrian push buttons; radar intersection detection; signs; pavement markings; and related equipment. The project has a stated period of performance of 180 working days and requires electronic submission of the Schedule A Bid Form, Required Exhibits Ex 2, 3, 4, and 5, and any issued addendum acknowledgment. A 5% bid bond is required.
