Description
The contractor shall plan and implement disposal of all remaining Bis (2,2-Dinitro-2-Fluoro Ethyl) Formal (FEFO) in methylene chloride at Naval Weapons Station Crane. Work includes developing and executing an asbestos abatement plan for vermiculite between the inner and outer packaging, organizing hazard-classification testing, providing spill containment and cleanup/recovery, and developing a spill contingency plan. The contractor must identify and coordinate with an agreed-upon RCRA hazardous-waste treatment or disposal facility, develop a repacking plan and Interim Hazard Classification packaging information, repackage the FEFO mixture according to the approved classification, and ship it to the facility. The procurement is for a firm-fixed-price service and is a total small-business set-aside with a Women-Owned Small Business solicitation designation.
