Description
Ivy Tech Community College seeks an architect/engineer firm for the Terre Haute Health Sciences Renovation Project. The project will relocate medical laboratory technology, surgical technology, and medical imaging programs into a newer portion of the campus building and renovate general classrooms into modern health sciences laboratory spaces. The estimated total project cost is $3,000,000, including design, construction, commissioning, owner costs, contingencies, and allowances. The budget is fixed and may require adjustments to the final scope and project size. The scope includes programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, MEP and architectural coordination, geotechnical information, cost and budget support, high-quality interior renderings, LEED Silver-related documentation, federal funding and environmental-review support, state design-release submissions, bidding services, and construction administration. Construction administration includes progress meetings, weekly job-site visits during construction, submittal and RFI review, pay-application and federal-funding documentation review, and owner training support. The project uses a design-bid-build delivery method and is anticipated to receive HUD Economic Development Initiative funding, requiring compliance with applicable federal mandates, NEPA requirements, and Davis-Bacon wage determinations. The initial submission is a qualifications package limited to eight written/graphic pages; shortlisted firms may later be invited to interview and submit a sealed fee proposal and detailed project approach.
