Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane intends to award a five-year, firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract with an estimated ceiling of $5 million for the new manufacture of multiple serpentine assembly variations for the AN/SPS-48E radar system. The Government intends to negotiate with Loughmiller Tool and Design on a sole-source basis, citing potential duplication of costs or unacceptable delays from competition. Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal for consideration, and the Government may use responses to reconsider its acquisition strategy. Responses should include company and product literature, if submitted; a capability statement of no more than two pages, if submitted; and other pertinent information, if submitted. Respondents should identify their company name, address, CAGE code, business size, point of contact, capabilities, resources, relevant experience, and the purpose of their response. Submissions must be electronic and unclassified. Contractors must be registered in SAM; access to export-controlled technical data requires active Joint Certification Program status through DD Form 2345. This notice is not a commitment to issue a formal solicitation or award a contract, and response costs will not be reimbursed.
