Description
Indiana University is seeking one or more suppliers to provide an integrated campus safety platform with three potential components: an enterprise emergency mass notification system using redundant communication channels; a modern, redundant, multipath campus emergency blue-light phone system for indoor, outdoor, parking, and remote environments; and vendor-agnostic security operations center and situational-awareness software for real-time monitoring and incident management. The proposed solution must support a unified, scalable, accessible platform with segmentation, delegation, reporting, and integration across the University's operational footprint. Suppliers may propose one, two, or all three components, although a full-scope solution is preferred. Required capabilities include integration or coexistence with existing video management, cameras, access control, automated license plate recognition, digital signage, dispatch and records management, emergency operations, telecommunications, service management, identity, and related systems. The University anticipates possible phased implementation and requests detailed technical responses, company qualifications, subcontracting information, references, comparable higher-education client information, compliance experience, emergency-activation case studies, certifications and partnerships, five-year total cost of ownership, three-year base pricing with two one-year extensions, fee and warranty details, security and privacy documentation, completion of the HECVAT Full 3.03 worksheet, and extensive accessibility information.
