Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 222 feet of hot-rolled, round steel bar, 1.750 inches in diameter and 16 to 22 feet long, made from UNS K02600 steel and conforming to the specified ASTM A36/A36M, ASTM A6/A6M, and SAE AMS2806 requirements. The material must be supplied in whole-foot lengths, with a quantity variance of plus or minus 10 percent, and delivered FOB origin within 150 days after acknowledgment of delivery order. The procurement includes metal certification requirements, continuous identification markings, ASTM A700 packaging and preservation requirements, MIL-STD-129 shipment marking, destination inspection and acceptance, and a required Certificate of Quality Compliance with each shipment. Only suppliers listed on the Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors are eligible for award unless a deviation is identified. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
