Description
Fair Oaks Water District is soliciting a contractor to equip Northridge Well #15 and complete related site improvements. The work includes installing a six-stage well pump and 250-horsepower submersible motor capable of delivering at least 1,500 gallons per minute at a total design head of 469.5 feet; well-head pedestal and pad construction; aboveground and belowground discharge, pump-to-waste, storm-drain, and water-main piping; valves, fittings, meters, hydrant and service improvements; and pavement restoration. The project also includes a sodium hypochlorite chemical feed and chlorination system, chemical storage and containment, a CMU well building, perimeter CMU walls and rolling gates, grading, drainage, concrete surfacing, hydroseeding, erosion control, lighting, power distribution, motor-control panels, pump-control panels, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA hardware and software, controls, wiring, conduits, testing, commissioning, and related incidentals. The contractor must be pre-qualified by the District, submit at least three similar public-agency project references completed within the past five years, and complete the work within 450 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
