Description
The Oregon Health Authority is soliciting proposals for culturally specific youth suicide prevention programming and services serving youth ages 24 and younger and/or their families in Oregon Communities of Focus. Proposed strategies must be community-based, aligned with the Oregon Suicide Prevention Framework and the Youth Suicide Intervention and Prevention Plan, and demonstrate strong ties to diverse communities, culturally specific experience, youth and family experience, cultural understanding, staffing, readiness, and the ability to attend events throughout Oregon. The agency anticipates awarding up to 20 grants, with combined awards of approximately $900,000 and individual awards generally not exceeding $80,000. Grant activities must be completed by June 30, 2027, and include program implementation, participation in learning communities, development of an evaluation plan with provided support, and specified suicide-prevention training. Proposals are limited to 12 pages, with supplemental information excluded from that limit; the budget proposal must be submitted as a separate electronic response file.
