Description
The City of Redmond is soliciting bids for construction upgrades to its existing Yew Avenue wastewater lift station. The work includes a new outdoor-rated control cabinet with updated pump controls and instrumentation, a generator system with automatic transfer capability, site expansion for upgraded electrical equipment and improved access, minor mechanical and electrical improvements, and complete site restoration. The lump-sum scope also includes demolition, excavation, wetwell and piping work, valves and fittings, electrical service, hatches, vaults, concrete pads and surfaces, sewer connections, temporary pumping, erosion control, lift station design, testing, startup, and all other work needed to provide a complete and operational facility. The estimated project cost is $450,000, and the work must comply with applicable construction codes, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality wastewater pump station standards, project plans, special provisions, and City standards.
