Description
The State of Delaware is seeking vendors for secure destruction of paper records, digital media, and other sensitive materials under multi-award contracts available to state agencies and eligible participating entities. Services include scheduled and bulk pickups, on-site destruction, and destruction of hard drives, tapes, CDs, flash media, microforms, and other electronic media. Vendors may bid on individual service items and may submit no-bids for services they cannot provide. Addendum 2 requires NAID AAA certification for each service or item bid, applicable permits and compliance qualifications, and destruction at requested agency facilities within Delaware. Work involving federal tax information must comply with IRS Publication 1075 and NIST media-sanitization requirements, including agency witnessing or verification where required, certificates of destruction, secure handling, specified cross-cut shredding or pulverization standards for paper, and approved sanitization or physical destruction of electronic media. No standardized testing-log format is provided, and service locations and pickup frequencies will be established by agencies after award based on their needs.
