Description
The Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife is soliciting bids for fur trapping permits on designated trapping units within various State Wildlife Areas. The permits are for the 2026-27 trapping season, running from December 1, 2026 through March 20, 2027. Bidders may submit offers for one or more of the available units, each with a minimum acceptable bid. The successful bidder for each unit will be granted exclusive trapping rights for that unit, subject to all applicable state regulations and permit conditions. Trappers must supply all necessary labor and equipment, comply with species-specific seasons and restrictions, and submit a mandatory harvest report by April 15, 2027. The contract may be renewed for up to three additional one-year periods through negotiation.
