Description
The Delaware Department of Transportation is soliciting professional services for subsurface investigations performed statewide and in varied terrain. The scope includes obtaining and visually examining disturbed and undisturbed samples; standard penetration testing; rock core drilling; Shelby tube sampling; use of geop probes; observation wells; double-ring or borehole infiltration testing; piezometer testing; and potential soil index, triaxial, direct shear, unconfined compressive strength of intact rock core, and pH resistivity testing. The selected firms will document samples, perform testing as directed, and provide samples and reports. The agreement is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a three-year term and two possible one-year extensions, with up to two agreements awarded. Work will be issued on an as-needed task-order basis. Firms must provide appropriate drilling equipment, maintenance-of-traffic setups, utility coordination, permits, experienced personnel, and Delaware Well Driller's Licenses for employees performing drilling. Proposals must include pricing, sample boring logs, architect-engineer qualifications using GSA SF330, required certifications, and one original and one redacted electronic proposal copy.
