The DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship Sediment and Stormwater Program has released new and revised regulatory guidance documents for public review. The key document is RGM-6, which provides background on regulatory requirements, defines how RPv credit beyond the regulatory requirement is quantified, and establishes procedures for demonstrating compliance and RPv extra credit specifically for extended detention (ED) BMPs. The guidance includes definitions, equations for computing compliance and extra credit rates, and design procedures using DURMM v2.6. The effective date is August 1, 2026.
