Description
The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority is soliciting services for 24-hour remote monitoring of fire alarm control panels and burglar alarm systems, along with onsite inspection, testing, troubleshooting, notification, reprogramming, repairs, updates, and emergency response. The contractor must provide an onsite technician within 24 hours of an emergency call and perform regular onsite services during business hours, with weekend work available by mutual agreement. The scope covers multiple CALCTRA buildings, including the Central Office and Green Valley Training Center, and requires the contractor to furnish labor, travel, equipment, and related expenses. The contractor must maintain inspection reports, provide monthly burglar-alarm activity reports, schedule required inspections and compliance testing, notify the State Fire Marshal when appropriate, and replace components needed for system compatibility and functionality. Materials and equipment rentals are reimbursed separately through purchase orders. Bidders must hold applicable BSIS and C-10 electrical contractor licenses, provide required business permits, maintain DIR registration and prevailing-wage compliance, and submit specified certifications, licenses, references, and cost information.
