Description
The City of Yuma is soliciting on-call, as-needed biohazard cleanup and remediation services for City-owned properties and public rights-of-way. The scope includes human waste cleanup; minor and major blood and bodily-fluid remediation; sharps and needle collection; removal of contaminated mattresses, furniture, bedding, clothing, carpets, and other bulk items; deodorization, disinfection, containment, site restoration, and related trauma-scene waste cleanup outside active emergency response. The contractor must provide all labor, trained and certified personnel, PPE, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and documentation. Services must comply with OSHA, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, and applicable Arizona requirements. Non-emergency response is required within 24 hours, and emergency response within 3 hours, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays. The contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity arrangement with no guaranteed minimum or maximum work, renewable for four additional one-year terms after the initial one-year term.
