Description
The City of Yuma is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide third-party administration of its workers' compensation program. Services include claims intake, investigation, review, documentation, statutory and administrative compliance under the Arizona Workers' Compensation Act, benefit payments, electronic claim-file maintenance, reporting, subrogation, excess-insurer notifications, litigation support, and quarterly claim reviews. The scope also includes medical management and return-to-work support; provider, nurse case-management, rehabilitation, and legal coordination; medical bill review and cost containment; fraud detection; claims-system access and reporting; and assistance with Industrial Commission of Arizona filings. Respondents must provide a technical proposal, references, questionnaire responses, signed forms, and online fee submissions. The contract is for an initial one-year term with four additional one-year renewal options.
