Description
The City of Yuma is soliciting temporary employment services for its Neighborhood Clean-Up program. The provider must furnish a pre-screened and pre-qualified crew of four temporary laborers, with an option to increase the crew to seven, on an as-needed basis. Services generally run from January through no later than May 1 each year, with laborers performing outdoor general labor in cleaning, grounds, streets, and parks within City limits under City supervision. The provider is responsible for recruiting, background checks, employment authorization documentation, qualification screening, OSHA training covering personal protective equipment and fire extinguishers, timesheets, payroll taxes, workers' compensation, required PPE, tools, equipment, transportation, and replacement of unsuitable personnel within two working days. The bid requires hourly rates through the provided bid table. The contract is for one year with four additional one-year renewal options, and the City will award the bid to one lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
