Description
Thompson School District R2-J is seeking to prequalify Colorado Certified Access Specialist firms for professional accessibility services as projects arise. Selected firms will work with District staff, contractors, and design firms to evaluate existing conditions, provide accessibility input for new construction, and inspect new installations. Services include on-site assessments of parking, entrances, pathways, restrooms, ramps, signage, and overall structural accessibility in buildings and public spaces. Deliverables must identify noncompliant conditions and successful accessibility features, cite applicable state and federal disability regulations including Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and include photographs, observations, and recommendations. Respondents must provide qualifications, Colorado school-district experience, team information and resumes, relevant project references, a sample inspection report, current workload, labor rates, insurance documentation, and required schedules and attachments. Prequalification does not guarantee work; the District intends to prequalify up to five firms for a term of up to five years.
