Description
Academy District 20 seeks a qualified superintendent search firm under a fixed-price contract to lead a nationwide search for a superintendent. The scope includes developing the superintendent profile with community input; recruiting and screening candidates; conducting reference checks; supporting interviews, stakeholder input, site visits, negotiations, and final selection; and providing a comprehensive transition plan through the new superintendent's first year. The selected firm must offer a 12-month placement guarantee under the stated conditions and demonstrate at least three successful superintendent searches for public PK-12 school districts within the past five years. Proposals must be submitted electronically as two separate PDF files: Envelope 1—Technical Proposal and Envelope 2—Cost Proposal. Addendum 1 extends the contract completion date to June 30, 2028. Addendum 2 clarifies that any confirmatory interview for the highest-rated offeror is not a re-scoring event but verifies the offeror's ability to perform as proposed before negotiations and award. The technical proposal is limited to 25 pages, excluding specified items, and must use at least 11-point font, single spacing, and one-inch margins. A current certificate of insurance and the specified forms and certifications are required.
