Description
The City of Fountain is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms to create an on-call list for geotechnical engineering and testing services supporting capital improvement projects. The scope includes testing and reporting on existing soils, pavement, and water tables; material classification; pavement and structural materials testing; compaction and water-content testing; quality-control and quality-assurance field testing; and related construction testing. Additional services may include Phase 1 Environmental Assessments under ASTM E1527-05 and geotechnical design for pavements, retaining walls, foundations, earthen structures, septic systems, and wells. Selected firms may receive project assignments on an as-needed basis through professional services contracts and task orders, but selection does not guarantee future work. Statements of Qualifications are limited to 20 pages and must address firm information, organization, key personnel and registrations, insurance, workload, three similar-project references, and the stated evaluation criteria.
