Description
The United States Space Force Operational Contracting Enterprise is hosting an industry day for general contractors to discuss the future of construction contracting and new flexible authorities, including Construction Other Transaction Authority and the authority under 10 U.S.C. § 2808a. The event will explain how these tools fit within the broader acquisition landscape and clarify that they are intended to complement, rather than replace, Multiple Award Construction Contracts. The event will also provide an opportunity for industry participants to share commercial construction best practices and innovative methods for moving projects from concept to capability more efficiently. Attendance is limited to two personnel per company, and registration is required.
