Description
The Borough of Dormont is soliciting bids for Phase 1 improvements to an existing borough park. Contract 1 includes site construction, clearing and grubbing, demolition, excavation and grading, erosion and sediment controls, storm sewer installation, concrete paving, benches, playground equipment procurement and placement, utility coordination, community playground-building coordination, signage, landscaping, plantings, seeding, retaining-wall and entry-plaza work, hillside playground equipment, and community involvement development. Contract 2 covers electrical construction for an existing restroom building and new park site lighting, including an additional lighting bid. All work must be completed in place. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements, DCNR LWCF guidelines, Buy America requirements, and DBE/SBE good-faith-effort instructions. Bidders must submit the required completed forms, bid security, qualification information, schedules, pricing sections, and applicable narratives. The solicitation requires at least three similar projects completed within the past five years. Successful bidders must provide performance, maintenance, labor and material payment bonds, and insurance documentation upon award.
