Description
The National Park Service is soliciting construction services to replace the existing South Rim Wastewater Treatment Plant at Grand Canyon National Park with a new wastewater treatment facility, including membrane bioreactor process systems, buildings, utilities, process equipment, controls, access-road improvements, site preparation, grading, paving, fencing, and demolition of existing plant infrastructure. The existing plant must remain operational until the replacement facility is accepted. The scope also includes startup, testing, commissioning, and a 12-month operations and maintenance support period. Amendment 6 revised the grit-washing and dewatering performance requirements and added an editable Small Business Subcontracting Plan. The contract period of performance is explicitly stated as February 1, 2027, through February 1, 2030.
