Description
Central Weber Sewer Improvement District is seeking an engineering design firm to perform a Facilities Evaluation and Master Plan Update for its wastewater collection system and treatment plant. The work includes data gathering, collection-system flow monitoring, growth and demand projections, hydraulic and treatment-capacity evaluations, solids-production and solids-handling planning, condition assessment, service-area expansion analysis, and development of an odor nuisance strategy. The selected firm will recommend and prioritize collection-system and treatment-plant improvement projects, establish project-specific flow trigger thresholds, estimate planning-level costs, address energy and chemical-use considerations, and prepare a coordinated capital facilities plan with implementation timeframes. The anticipated deliverable is a CWSID Facilities Master Plan, with interim deliverables and a detailed project approach proposed by the consultant. Statements of qualifications are limited to 12 pages excluding resumes, with specified sections for an introductory letter, team organization, project approach, qualifications, and at least three similar projects completed within the past five years with client references.
