Description
The City of Albany is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed medical providers to perform NFPA 1582-compliant occupational medical examinations for Albany Fire Department personnel. Services include medical histories and exposure assessments; physician-led physical examinations; laboratory testing and urinalysis; vision, hearing, spirometry, and cardiovascular testing; cancer and infectious-disease screenings; immunization review; and additional diagnostic testing when indicated. The contractor must provide qualified medical personnel, equipment, materials, confidential employee results, fitness-for-duty determinations, and timely reports. Services are expected to be performed on City property at an agreed location, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Proposals must address implementation, staffing, safety, relevant experience, pricing, references, insurance, employee drug and alcohol testing, background-check programs, and the City's vendor attestation regarding functionality, support, and data compliance.
