Description
The Indian Health Service is seeking multiple emergency medicine physicians, as needed and subject to funding, to provide ad hoc personal services in the Emergency Department of Whiteriver Indian Health Service Hospital. Duties include direct emergency and urgent patient care for patients of all ages, trauma and surgical care, diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, consultation with medical personnel, medical direction for emergency medical services, inpatient care as needed, teaching, and related clinical documentation and follow-up. Offerors must demonstrate the required medical qualifications, including a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, an unrestricted medical license, emergency medicine board eligibility or certification, required life-support certifications, and emergency medicine residency or equivalent experience. The submission requires administrative, technical, and compensation volumes, including a resume, two professional references, an Indian Economic Enterprise certification, a signed Business Associate Agreement, and pricing using the provided schedule. The contract is a time-and-materials arrangement with a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods; services are performed on an ad hoc basis, including possible evening, night, holiday, and weekend shifts.
