Description
The California Department of Developmental Services, through Porterville Developmental Center, is soliciting a licensed infectious disease specialist to provide specialty medical services to developmental-center individuals. The contractor must have expertise in infectious disease, be licensed to perform the work, and have qualified personnel with at least three years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. The scope includes up to 10 in-person clinics during the contract term, along with consultations, examinations, procedures, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, follow-up recommendations, and written clinical reports. Bidders must submit the required bid attachments, including the applicable medical license and liability insurance documentation, and comply with the solicitation's licensing, confidentiality, HIPAA, health-screening, fingerprint-clearance, and reporting requirements. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through June 30, 2027.
