Description
NHS Essex Integrated Care Board is conducting an open competitive procurement for an eligible provider to deliver the full range of General Medical Services at Tollgate Practice in Stanway, Colchester. The successful provider will manage an approximately 10,206-patient registered list and provide safe, effective, sustainable, and accessible primary medical services, including clinical governance, safeguarding, information governance, workforce management, patient access, continuity of care, and integration with local Primary Care Network, neighbourhood, and wider health and care services. The provider must be eligible to hold a GMS contract under the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) Regulations 2015 and meet legal, regulatory, financial, technical, professional, workforce, and mobilisation requirements. Services must be delivered from the existing practice premises with a resilient onsite workforce and a realistic mobilisation plan. The estimated contract value is £21,896,491.60 excluding VAT, based on a notional 20-year calculation; the stated contract period runs from 1 April 2027 through 31 March 2037. The procurement has no lots, variants, or options.
