Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting linen supply and laundry processing services for the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and associated locations, including Fort Thomas and the Norwood Community Based Outreach Clinic. The contractor must furnish labor, equipment, supervision, supplies, transportation, delivery carts, processing facilities, and contractor-owned linens as required. Services include pickup of soiled linen; transportation; sorting, washing, disinfecting, drying, ironing, folding, packaging, quality assurance, and delivery of clean linen; processing of patient clothing, uniforms, gowns, mops, microfiber items, slings, and other specialty textiles; and support for the Scrub Locker Program. The contractor must maintain clean/soiled separation, required on-site and off-site PAR levels, infection-control procedures, manifests, weight and delivery records, contingency capabilities, and Monday-through-Saturday service schedules. The procurement is full and open and contemplates an IDIQ contract with a six-month base period followed by four 12-month option periods. The maximum total contract value, including exercised options, is $4,400,000, with a guaranteed minimum of $20,000 in the initial fiscal year. Quotes must include administrative and technical volumes, a completed supplied Excel price schedule, and either one combined references PDF or exactly three past-performance questionnaires. Required technical content includes regulatory compliance, clean/soiled separation, a quality control plan, continuity and sustainability planning, facility and backup-facility information, a deployment schedule, technical support procedures, and subcontractor information if applicable.
