Description
The California Department of General Services, Office of State Publishing, is procuring a 36-month uniform and specialty-item rental service. The contractor must provide labor, materials, weekly delivery and pickup, laundering, cleaning, repairs, replacements, storage bins, and inventory management for uniforms, towels, mats, mop heads, mop handles, buckets, and filter bags. Uniforms include shirts, trousers, shorts, polo shirts, face masks, and sweaters, with required logos and name patches; specified uniforms must comply with NFPA 70E and applicable safety requirements. Services will support multiple Office of State Publishing facilities in the Sacramento region. The solicitation requires current proof of general liability, commercial automobile, and workers' compensation insurance; at least three similar references from the past five years; a minimum 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation; and completion of the required bid forms, certifications, references, proof of insurance, and cost sheets. Bids must be sealed and mailed or hand delivered; electronic and facsimile submissions are not accepted.
