Description
Selkirk School District is soliciting sealed bids for a delivered log/sort sale covering approximately 13.5 acres and an estimated 360 MBF of sawlogs, 160 tons of hew wood, and 120 tons of byproduct or pulp. The contractor must harvest, sort, manufacture, load, and haul timber to regional mill destinations, provide sequential load tickets and log marking, maintain and restore roads and skid trails, and comply with export restrictions and applicable forestry, safety, and environmental requirements. The scope also includes complete land clearing on approximately 3.5 acres for a future softball field, including stump and major-root extraction, piling, off-site disposal, slash piling and burning, and related hauling. Bidders must provide delivery rates by destination and product, plus a lump-sum price for stump pulling and off-site haul-off. Post-award requirements include a performance bond, certificate of insurance, and IRS Form W-9.
