Description
Spokane County is soliciting sealed bids for County Road Project Nos. 3284 and 3347, involving improvements to Craig Road and Thorpe Road. The work includes Craig Road realignment and roundabout construction at Thorpe Road, clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation and hauling, embankment compaction, select borrow, crushed surfacing, hot-mix asphalt paving, cement concrete pavement, curb and gutter, island treatment, illumination, beam guardrail, steel culvert pipe, temporary traffic control, and related work in accordance with the contract plans, provisions, and standard specifications. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the proposed bid is required, in the form of an acceptable surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashier's check, or certified check. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for the full contract price and proof of insurance. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded an opportunity to participate on this federal-aid project.
