The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry, is offering for sale FSC and SFI certified sawtimber and pulpwood stumpage on 414 acres located on Hannah Furnace Road, Rush Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. The sale includes approximately 402.14 MBF of sawtimber, primarily chestnut oak and red maple, and 2,583.33 HCF of pulpwood, primarily mixed oak and red maple. The sale is divided into four cutting blocks, with salvage shelterwood treatments. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract, provide a performance deposit, and comply with various logging restrictions, including seasonal cutting prohibitions, whole tree harvesting guidelines, and road construction and seeding requirements. Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express by October 14, 2026.
