Description
Spokane Public Schools (SPS) is soliciting qualifications from Progressive Design-Build Teams to design and construct the new Madison Elementary School, a Fieldhouse, and the renovation of Franklin Park on an occupied campus. The project includes comprehensive design and construction services such as design validation, scheduling and logistics planning, coordination with design consultants, management of design budgets and contingencies, investigative design work, material and system selection support, and management of subcontractor and supplier bidding. The estimated Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) including validation, design, pre-con, and construction is $51.6 million. Validation and design are expected to begin in August 2026, with construction anticipated to start in March 2027, school occupancy in August 2028, and demolition completion in October 2028. Interested firms must obtain the RFQ packet from SPS's Purchasing Services office or the district website. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on June 9, 2026, at Madison Elementary School. SPS encourages participation of Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Disadvantaged Business, and Small Business Enterprises.
