Description
The City of Norwalk is soliciting bids for Trade Package 05, covering structural steel and ornamental metals for site improvements, renovations to the existing Fire Station 4 building, and a building addition. This is a rebid limited to the structural steel and ornamental metals package. Bidders must have completed at least three similar projects of equal or greater value within the last five years and provide verification with the proposal. The submission must include a fully executed bid form, bid security form, and Contractor Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305). A 10% bid security is required; the selected bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for the full contract amount if the contract exceeds $100,000. The project is subject to Connecticut prevailing-wage requirements.
